Get directionsI have had nothing but the best care team during my emergency stay here. they have been absolutely phenomenal!
The front door guy is very rude&racist! get rid of him immediately!!
79 year old male, hard time breathing with chest pains. we waited 3 hours in the waiting room. watch many people enter and leave with smiles on their faces and walking just fine. when i asked how much longer they said i don't know, then proceeded to tell me they take people back according to severity? how is it people are smiling and walking but a 79 year old man with breathing problems and chest pains IS NOT SEVERE ENOUGH
I visited Alton Memorial yesterday with my mother who had a stroke 5 years ago. She needed an EEG and MRI. We arrived and was registered fairly quickly and off to EEG. Let me just brag on Tawanda(I hope I got her name right). She was Awesome!! She has the bedside manner of the sweetest angel. She was so kind and patient with mom and made sure to reassure me that mom was in good hands. She even walked us down to MRI after the EEG to make sure they knew why mom was a few minutes late.
I'm so upset about this hospital's covid policy. I will never bring a family member her again due to their unyielding policy of ONE visitor. The sign says nothing about it being the SAME visitor. My brother was the first visitor to get an update and had to leave. My 93 year old mother is in the ER with no one. We just found out only HE can see her. So basically he can come and go as he pleases, no questions asked.
my husband went in town ER in April for repeated vomiting over a five-day period. Couldn't keep anything down also has epilepsy and informed the doctors of this in the emergency room, was not treated sent home 30 minutes later told to come back the next day if he still couldn't keep anything down did not IV him for fluids, nothing... We have now two emergency room bills because they refused to treat him the first day. took my daughter in three weeks ago who is 9 years old for passing out they did not treat her either they se... read more
The workers here do not know what they are doing. They have signs in ER saying 2 visitors. Outside of ER doors, before you walk in, there is a sign saying that ER can have 1 visitor. Below that it says inpatients can have 1 visitor per day. PER DAY. It doesnt say PER DAY for ER. So i had my mom come out so i could see my dad, which was ok with one of the nurses, but when i try to go in and visit, a guard tells me 1 visitor a day. So while I am outside talking to my mother about the bs, 2 women visiting the same person gets t... read more
