I've been to countless dentists over the past 25 years and with being faced with hereditary dental issues found myself unable to laugh or smile without insecurity almost my whole life. Bad service , I do Not recommend him ! Plus : He is not a respectfull person.
Poor business practices in not properly checking w/insurance co. prior to procedure sticking it to patient to have to unnecessarily pay out of pocket for charges otherwise covered by insurance if only rules (Waiting before scheduling next visit etc.) were followed. This defeats the whole purpose of having insurance! Why would one pay to have coverage, go to a participating Dr. to just get screwed and pay out of pocket? Questionable procedure and need for it as well. NEVER will EVER set foot in this office again!
Dr John is the best!! Always fits me right in and does quality work. When choosing a dentist in central Florida look no further then Dr John Altomare.
WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Had a complete frontal bridge totally remade to fit my smile correctly. Excellent temp that looks like the finished product. Can't wait to get the finished product. I'll definitely follow up with another post when it's completed. So far, UNSURPASSED EXCELLENCE... VERY SATISFIED.
I have had several filings and crowns down over the past 5 years- Dr Altomare is amazing, he made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. He and his staff are very friendly and professional. His office is beautiful and very clean. I recommend him to all of my friends and clients. My family and I have been going to him for over 10 years now.
Would not recommend this guy to anyone. He has the assistants do everything and spends a fraction of a second with the patient. I spent $900 having a crown put in last summer and have been in pain everyday since. I went back to him 7 times and had 3 other dentist give me an opinion. All dentist said crown is too large and has open margins. He said "it is fine" and sent me on my way each time. Now it has been a year and I am still in pain, headaches because of it and I'm out $900.
