My husband and I have been going to Altobeli's since they first opened over 25 years ago. It's been one of our favorite places to dine.The food is wonderful, I had the trio of shrimp, veal and chicken over angel hair pasta with a buttery caper sauce. Delish.....The staff are friendly and always take good care of you. Can't say enough about the entertainment. Excellent. They are all great and Randy at the piano makes it even better. Awesome atmosphere. Great food. Live music. It was a perfect place to spend some Holiday time with family.
Best Italian restaurant in the city. No one else even comes close. Al and the staff are FANTASTIC. Give em a try. You'll be glad you did.
The food is pretty mediocre, but the atmosphere is fun. Didn't much like that on our group dinner, individual liquor bills there was an automatic gratuity of over 20% ...especially when the waiter taking the orders was not at all compliant.
If you are looking for excellent food with an elegant relaxed environment, Altobeli's is the place.
