Wonderful shopping experience. Matthew was very helpful and kind and showed a variety of options within my parameters. I am very pleased with the opal I chose. I will visit again when I return to Sydney in the future.

We had a great experience with Altman + Cherny . They have a great selection of Opals and are very unique and exquisite. But the most impressive for us was Matthew, who helped my wife decide what is good for what she was looking for. His knowledge of the stones and what type would make her be satisfied and boy, he couldn’t be more correct. My wife was more than satisfied with what she bought!

We were so glad we visited this shop on our Odyssey tour! The owner gave us a lovely presentation and discussed her family history in the opal business. Their opals are other-wordly and priced to match. They carry a large quantity of different quality gems in each price category. Love their business practice: the miners set their own prices.
