I am not one to write negative reviews however it has gotten to the point where I want to address several concerns regarding my tenancy and recent interactions with management at Alterra. First, I want to make it clear that I have never missed a rent payment. This place is gorgeous!
Overall, Alterra is a nice apartment complex with good management. Unfortunately, I was surprised with a $400 charge for stained carpets filed upon completion of my final walkthrough of my apartment at the completion / turnover of my lease. During the final walkthrough, vocal comments were made by a property representative that described the condition of the apartment as “incredible” and that there was “normal wear and tear”.
