They accuse and throw people out without a dirty iurine, your told one thing by one person and something else by another, While a family member was here there were people getting high. Half of the staff are recovering addicts, so they still have that addict mentality when it comes to differentiating. I'm sorry to read that some people had a negative experience with ALC. You are of course entitled to your opinions. However, it is very common for people to blame a group as a whole based on a negative experience with one aspect or person associated with said company. I've dealt with ALC for years and, putting my opinions aside, know this place saves lives. The comment about taking benefits from clients is a lie. This place is amazing.. it has rules but nothing different than living with your parents, got to class home by ten ,no girls in your room. Clean up after yourself. They will help you with everything to get back on your feet. This is a recovery program not a summer camp or homeless shelter.
Tell u insurance pays for everything the. They take ur EBT CARD and charge rent. No one cares about your sobriety. Please stay far away from this place
We had an appointment for an intake for outpatient therapy that was canceled by ALC. It was rescheduled for the following week but unfortunately on a day that transportation was not available. We were told a staff member would call us to reschedule the appointment. After several days and several phone calls where messages were left, we never received a return phone call to set up the intake.
