I will be the first to admit I hate getting haircuts. I probably get 1-2 a year. That being said Altered Ego is the only place I can tolerate (and even enjoy) getting my hair done. The girls there are all wonderful, they recommended me my favourite hair products, and they are amazingly priced. I genuinely couldn’t be more grateful to all the staff working there. They have managed to make me fall in love with my hair again. Been going to them for a few years now and I don’t think I’ll be able to go anywhere else.

Booked a haircut over the phone for an appointment with Jess at Altered Ego. When I arrived to the salon for my appointment, I was told my appointment was scheduled for the day prior and not today (a booking error on their part). Asked why there was no call placed to connect with me about this mishap and was told since I haven’t been to the salon in a few years that there wasn’t a need to do so. Super job from Tina - 5 stars! She is a skilled stylist and awesome with colour. I moved away for 10 years, now so happy to be back in Kingston & getting my hair done with Tina again. She is professional, well priced and always feel that she takes so much care. Would give her 10 stars if I could!!!
