Nothing is perfect, but Altercare is always very clean, and the majority of the help is extremely competent, friendly and helpful. It is bright and cheery with up to date, upscale decor. The food is very good.
My mom spent the last 10 months of her life at Altercare. I was so pleased with the overall care she received during her stay. The key to having a good experience was to be involved in her life at least 3 days a week. We had a few meetings with management during our stay, but I would say that is to be expected. I was with my mom when she departed this world and the staff couldn't have been more supportive. Several of the nurses and aides came by and cried with us.
