Alterations Express McCandless is the place I highly recommend I had to get my wedding dress altered in a short period of time and was looking in several places around Shadyside and Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh, but only Alterations Express on McKnight Road was able to provide me what I was looking for. The manager Alena S. did a great job in a short period of time and was very pleasant person to deal with. Alterations Express McCandless is very good. They do a very good job with alterations here. For an extra charge, they can do same day or next day pick up. Most of the staff are very nice. I would recommend this place.
Unprofessional I took a dress to them on a Saturday to have a neckline covered which they said would be around $30.00 and would be ready on Thursday. Well, I got a phone call from them on Wednesday, the day before I was suppose to pick it up, stating they didnt wish to do the work. She stated there was too much involved in the repair! I dont mind that they did not want to do the work, but a call before the day I was supposed to pick it up is totally unacceptable.
Alterations Express McCandless is very good. I have used Alterations Express multiple times and have found that they do quality work in a timely fashion. Their prices are comparable to other seamstresses.
good alterations, and decent prices I've had mostly good luck with Alterations Express. Once I had to go back cause the hem wasn't perfect, but every other time I have been very happy. They also do a great job with dry cleaning. And their prices are decent.
Fast and accomodating At the last minute, my husband needed some alterations on his suit. Alterations Express lived up to its name. They were very helpful in getting the job done and coordinating with the dry cleaners to meet our deadline without additional fees. The hem job was professional and just as requested and I would recommend them in the future.
