Alterations Express McCandless is the place I highly recommend I had to get my wedding dress altered in a short period of time and was looking in several places around Shadyside and Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh, but only Alterations Express on McKnight Road was able to provide me what I was looking for. The manager Alena S. did a great job in a short period of time and was very pleasant person to deal with. Alterations Express McCandless is very good. They do a very good job with alterations here. For an extra charge, they can do same day or next day pick up. Most of the staff are very nice. I would recommend this place.
Unprofessional I took a dress to them on a Saturday to have a neckline covered which they said would be around $30.00 and would be ready on Thursday. Well, I got a phone call from them on Wednesday, the day before I was suppose to pick it up, stating they didnt wish to do the work. She stated there was too much involved in the repair! I dont mind that they did not want to do the work, but a call before the day I was supposed to pick it up is totally unacceptable.
Alterations Express McCandless is very good. I have used Alterations Express multiple times and have found that they do quality work in a timely fashion. Their prices are comparable to other seamstresses.
