dr altenburg did my double hip replacement when I was 43 and I cant thank him enough hes kind and caring did a great job thanks dr I'm 47 now
I had my knees done two years ago. I don’t know why I waited so long in pain (10 or 12 years) to have total knee replacement. My mobility was restricted. About 6 and a half weeks after my second knee was done I was walking three miles with my walking group. I am able to do 19 mile miles, garden, paint the house, etc.and I am 75 years old. Thank you.
Back in February 2016, at the age of just 27 years old, I went in to see Dr. Altenburg for a total hip replacement of my right hip due to destruction caused by the childhood diseases, “Perthes”. Before my surgery I struggled to do very simple things due to the pain, and my quality of life suffered. I had right knee replacement on Jan 30,2019. The operation was harder than I thought is was going to be. By far the biggest medical procedure I’ve had. Did not know what to expect but knew I had to fix the knee. Dr Altenburg talked me thru what was coming and what to expect. He listened to my concerns and answered truthfully. He operated with extreme care on infection and using same staff. I asked him why not use robotic procedure and he explained the art of procedure. Two hips and one knee replacement does not lie... life is good with joint replacements! One more knee to go plus his friend, Joe in Boise does great shoulder replacement.
I've had both my knees done. Dr. Altenburg took a chance doing my second one since my health wasn't the greatest and I'm thankful he did. he and Matt are the bomb. thank you so very much.
I have had both my knees replaced by Dr Altenburg. I had my right replaced and then 6 weeks later I had my left knee replaced. I am three weeks into recovery on my left knee. I love the staff and I appreciate Dr Altenburg so much! I love my new knees! No more popping and grinding I feel like such a new person since my surgeries! I am 54 years old I wish and I would have done this 5 years ago 🌷
Thanks to Dr. Altenberg and his team I have had two perfect knee replacements 7/20/16 & 10/26/16 and I feel and walk better than I have in 25 years and I am only 48!
