Will hire you if you have a medical marijuana card. Will not hire you if you smoke legal d8 from your local smokeshop. Smh. Not shading the company just a heads up for everyone else!!

I am blown away with this company. They use a temp service "kelly" .almost 2 weeks ago ( of the 3 weeks weve been talking) i was offered a job.i accepted. Even tho kelly cant find their rear end with both hands.talked to atleast 5 different people in almost as many states. With no light at end of tunnel.so i call altec to tell them as much and they get offended n terminate the hiring.mind u 2nd interviews, drug tests etc,background checks n stick to their incompetent temp service. The work itself is great. Management is by far the worst I've seen. The negative mood that managment sets really hurts productivity. Another very disturbing thing is that quality will be sacrificed if we are behind. They have a list of core values on the wall and will break every one of them to make a buck. I've been told the other Altec facilities are decent but the Duluth location is a major disappointment. After 6 years I had to end my employment with them and move on.
