Dr. Putnam and staff are all great and quick in taking care of my puppy Toby he unexpectedly got very sick and other clinics I would have to wait for a appointment. I walked in and they quickly saw he was having trouble breathing the staff quickly came out and took him to start working on him was like i was watching an episode of greys anatomy lol. He had to stay for a day but he is doing so much better and going back to his normal self.
Excellent. This was the only veterinarian in the RGV I could find that would treat a Bearded Dragon. I had to come all the way from Edinburg, but it was worth it. He had a severe bacterial infection and lost most of his body weight. The veterinarian was very knowledgeable about treating reptiles. She prescribed medication and a supplement. A few weeks later, my dragon is now doing much better and is back to his normal self. I can't thank you guys enough.

We would like to thank the staff of Altas Palmas for making the passing of our Mr. Magoo bearable. Tuesday, June 7 was a sad day for us. We had Magoo for 16 yrs. He was our baby. My husband went to a Vet here in Weslaco and he was handed a clipboard to fill out papers and him standing there crying ,holding our baby. They were not respectful or understanding. The staff were very kind n very sweet to our sweet baby boy Cosmo. It was very unexpected n we had to put him to sleep. We were there all morning n they were not only thoughtful of Cosmo but also to my little one n myself. U could feel how much they cared n were just as saddened as we were as its never easy to let go of a furr baby. It was a nice n unexpected surprise to see a sympathy card waiting in our mailbox signed by some off the staff. Their kind words truly touched our broken hearts after losing Cosmo. They were super kind and very gentle and caring with my pet and they know what they are doing unlike other vet offices I've visited. When my baby died they even sent a sweet card in the mail signed by the staff! I can tell that they genuinely care for their patients and I will continue to bring my fur babies here as I am very pleased with their services ❤️
First time here and we loved it!! We were treated with great care & our baby was treated with such TLC! Love this place! Thanks for your undivided attention!
The Drs are all great as is the care, but I've waited over an hour for care. This seems excessive to me, especially in light of the fact that this was a return visit for a dressing change. Often have waited 30-45 minutes.
