I posted a review a couple years ago when e wonderful hI went to alter point for help with serious long time opiate addiction that had my life upside down again and I was on the edge of despair. Hopeless and ready to end my life . Well alter point took me under their care. They were swamped with people way understaffed and way over worked . Hi April can you please pass this along we the people of Altapointe watch other workers come and go they leave for various reasons some of the main reasons that we hear from them is its not enough pay and they just can't get with a 37.5 work week. It’s a joke I’ve been here since I was 12 and now I’m 24 and nothings helped they’re THE WORST for mental help DONT COME HERE
This place is a joke. The get all this state and federal funding but yet Alabama has more mentally homeless people not on meds and living in the woods. The staff acts if they don't care. People's meds are being not rewriten causing more issues. The State and The feds need to go in a take over this . It is medical neglect on Altapointe behalf .
