They're a bunch of crooks in that place. STAY AWAY!!! they tricked us to pay hundreds of dollars!!! We waited 5 months for our daughter's appointment, which they reassured me it will be at no cost since we have medicaid. When we finally came, they suddenly said that the basic free option is not available and for us and the only option is to take the expensive treatment that cost us almost $400!! I went in knowing I was getting a tooth pulled that's been very painful for a while. I walk in they do an x-ray and then send me to another room. Doctor walks in and says I have some bad news your going to need a full mouth extraction. That was it didn't pull the tooth or nothing. So they send me back out into the front office as I'm waiting for paperwork I am balling my eyes out not knowing what to do so now I have to go and get a second opinion on my tooth.
Called to get my daughter an appointment. Knew their pediatric dentist was only in twice a month but the lady on the phone seemed to want to emphasize it four times. They had one appointment in January at 11:00. I asked for any other time. She said that was all they had until March. We called today to make an appointment, we were unsure how to do that. The RUDE woman who answered the phone said we needed to contact the insurance provider to pick that office and send in the info. So we called the insurance, the guy from Humana explained that isn’t the case. He called the dental office to try and understand what she needed, He made the call 3way, so it was Us, insurance & the Receptionist for this office. This place is absolutely DISGUSTING! These people shouldn't even call themselves dental professionals. After waiting for an hour for my son to be seen a very unpleasant male assistant called us back and took my sons x-rays. Did not greet my 8 year old son who was nervous nor myself. Took his x-rays and then sent us to a dirty treatment room with used instruments. When I told him it was dirty he came in and picked up the instruments and paper tray cover and wiped the tray down. I can’t stand this place, there service is horrible and when you need certain services done they can’t schedule it the same day. You have to schedule another appointment to have it done. Staff is very unprofessional and very loud while speaking about there personal life. I do not recommend this place at all.
So the other day i went to the dentist , may i say it was the worst experience i ever had ! I highly recommend no one to ever visit Altamonte Mall Dental !! This place was disgusting, the staff was very unprofessional! Everything was dirty. I did not see them clean anything behind any patient. When i walked to the back the Assistant told me to just “put my mouth on the machine” didn’t clean anything until i asked him to. This place needs to get reported. The front desk is breaking.
