Turned away from Urgent Care even though I have Medi-Cal. I have never before heard of someone with valid insurance being turned away from Urgent Care.

My mom is a patient at the Altamed location in the city of Pico Rivera, I don’t understand why the ask for name date of birth and the ask for the ID? I wish for the medical group not to ask for personal information at the front desk just the ID WILL BE FINE!!!!cause if full of patients (? Also urgent care waiting area mix with regular appointments? So bad the risk of infection to a regular patients visit with SICK patients. Hope the comment make the facility more safe for patients NO matter if is a Government (Medical) .
