i’ve seen the same reviews all over for this facility and i can’t understand how they’re still a patient care facility, i asked for an appointment to get a referral for my OB/GYN since im pregnant and they said they won’t do it. Told them i had previously talked with insurance and they said they could and altamed didn’t even bothered explaining why not and said they wouldn’t do it. THIS PLACE HAS NO COMPASSION FOR THE PATIENTS THEY ATTEND NOT ONLY DO THEY LEAVE YOU WAITING HOUR AND 30mins PAST YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME BUT THEY PURPOSELY MAKE YOU WAIT WITH NO REGARD FOR THE PEOPLE. This has happened MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE EXCUSES FOR BEING UNPROFESSIONAL
Do not trust Altamed with your insurance. I was given incorrect information from their insurance advisor, which has caused my insurance to be cancelled (ie, I have not been able to see a doctor or ER and I've had injuries) and now have been told by insurance I have a huge bill to pay or be permanently cancelled. Moreover, when I reached out to the original worker on this, she ghosted me.
