I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with this provider. From my very first appointment, it was clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to truly listen and understand their needs. My initial visit lasted about an hour, if not longer, and at no point did I feel rushed or like I was just another appointment on the schedule. After two years of working with Alta, first as my therapist and then as my Nurse Practitioner providing my psychiatric medication, I was severely wronged during a dark time in my life. While therapy was productive for a while, I began to see issues with my treatment. She would often have students that would sit in on sessions. I rarely write negative reviews, but this is one experience that has stayed with me. About five years ago, during a very difficult period in my life, I was treated by Alta Langdon. Since then I’ve worked with several other psychiatrists and mental health providers, most of whom have been thoughtful and highly competent. I saw Alta Langdon about five years ago during a very difficult time in my life. Since then I’ve worked with several other psychiatrists and mental health providers, and my experiences with them have generally been thoughtful and professional.
