This is the worst billing department I have ever worked with. The woman I spoke to would interrupt me while I was talking and then proceeded to threaten to hang up on me when I started getting upset. She was also unable to answer any of my questions like my "labs" being sent to an out of network lab. Tried to bill me multiple times even though I had coverage, AND after my insurance company had told them it wasn't billable. Absolutely ridiculous and unkind, unprofessional customer service. Don't use IHC Sandy!

This company works for intermountian and primary childrens hospital Salt Lake City Utah. It boots all its calls to Utah university, doesn’t do its prior authorizations WITH appropriate and timely warning, yet proceeds to charge out of state Medicare patients for it. It therefore commits fraud, and has in 11 of our cases. Hope you find this helpful in the hands of a lawyer!
I was charged $1,260 for a procedure that required a $95 copay before they would even see me. I have called 7 times now over the course of the last three months to get a refund of the difference (confirmed by my insurance) and they keep delaying the resolution and/or making mistakes in notes, not noting at all, not following up when they said they would, and making erroneous and plain false changes to the app information such as insurance adjustments, payments, etc. I have the EOB from my insurance company, including the all... read more
