Recommendedwarm and enthusiastic people...yet they do not serve Peruvian food or "pisco sour"
Fantastic stay for our ski trip! Food was great. Staff was even better. A cozy place with lots of history. Perfect place to meet new people. Highly recommend!
This has been one of the greatest places I have ever stayed at. Sitting next to people at dinner who have skiied here for 50 years says it all. The staff here is second to none, shuttle, servers, front desk, ski shop, everyone, exceed expectations on a guest service level. I cant say enough great things about this place, but one comes to mind overall: its authenticity.

The most amazing lodge in Utah! Friendly, cozy, cool and historic. The staff is great, the beds are so comfy and the food is awesome. People love this hotel and it shows.
this is the best place on earth
Cozy, quirky, rustic, warm, and wonderful! My husband and I stayed two nights to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. Since we only live about 15 miles away from the Lodge, and come to Alta to ski pretty much every Saturday, our visit was more of a stay-cation. If you are looking for a place with spacious rooms with TV’s fridges, and room service, this place is NOT for you. The food is fantastic though. Especially their dinner offerings! The other guests were delightful, and all that I had spoken to were return clientele.... read more
