Very lovely team, made moving easy. But terribly slow, and overzealous in shrinkwrapping items (which they charge you for on a per item basis). Their "crate" for appliances was just cardboard so don't bother paying the extra charge for it. The team we had was really nice and was careful with our property but took twice as long as other movers we've had in the past with the same level of detail.

Love the service , I was very hesistant in which long distant company to chose due to the fact that I've always lived in San Diego and never mores cities . More importantly because I wanted all my things to get to LA safe with nothing breaking or nothing being missing . Got a great quote and I don't regret hiring them for the service . I'll totally rehire them if I ever decide to move back to San Diego . They also have an awesome team who is every helpful and comforts you .

I had a great experience with Alta Movers, i could not ask for better customer service :) I was worried about my belonging getting damaged, they explained the process and what they would do to make sure my belonging would not get damaged with the long drive from Santa Clara to Sacramento. Alta movers was very helpful in my move from LA to San Diego. It was not a hassle and I really did feel like they were keeping all of my belongings safe! Definitely would have not been able to move my big furniture without them. They were helpful throughout the whole process, and very gentle with my stuff. I know I will be recommending them to anyone looking for friendly, responsible and caring movers. Really pleased with the service, thanks guys!

I used Alta Movers to help my nephew relocate from Los Angeles to San Francisco and they were great. The workers seemed a bit quiet but friendly nevertheless. They were pretty busy so I understand they had no time to be chatty. They were able to pack everything in his apartment within a few hours and we made the drive to San Francisco and they unloaded everything and were done by 8pm.
