Nice place. Great views. Lots of great hiking trails. And the wildflowers, simply amazing!
First time there to attend a summertime family wedding...amazing, attentive, caring, personable staff. Due to late booking on our part, we had to stay in one of the dorm style rooms. My wife and I made the most of it in our twin bunk beds for a couple nights, but were able to upgrade for our last night...and after such a great experience are thinking of spending our anniversary, 12/31, and the New Year here.
If you love to ski and want to stay in a real lodge in a real ski area (not a corporate real estate sales tool like Colorado) stay here. You'll be glad you did.
Fun and beautiful skiing. The lodge is perfectly located just above Collins lift The attentiveness of all the staff is amazing. Makes the whole experience outstanding.
The place is tremendous and a notch above the rest. Upon injuring myself a couple days ago while staying at the lodge, the incredible staff did everything in their power to assist and make me feel comfortable and at home. There are very few places left that are as welcoming and inviting as the Alta Lodge.
