I had my furnace serviced by Als Quality Oil a year ago. Recently my furnace has started blowing soot all over the basement. I thought this was strange after just a year of running without being cleaned. I inspected the air intake on the furnace and it was completely closed. This means ALS quality oil either forgot to set it properly before leaving or just never inspected it when they were here.
