This place is great. Great place for a first date. Food is higher end with a neat unique atmosphere. The staff is wonderful and positive with recommendations. I got the malt 12 Oz and it was served with the metal mix cup and the glass sundae cup. Quality was superb. I also got the appetizer of shrimp and bruschetta. Beautiful presentation and delicious to boot. Elgin is a hidden treasure. This place is a prefect example of that.
My family and I have been coming here for years. Love the old school charm, friendly service, and the food (and ice cream!) of course. Really grateful to have a place like this in the area. Keep doing your thing, Al’s. ♡
Had the southwestern burger in the patio. Very tasty! Never been to downtown Elgin before. Honestly, a little underrated!
This place is awesome. Delicious food, large portions. Did not have room for a malt, but we will return. The cocktails were good as well as the service. Parking is on the street or parking garage a block away.
