RecommendedMy son and I visited the Franklin Street location today. This was our first time trying Al’s Burger Shack. We had a very enjoyable experience. Upon walking up to the window, we were acknowledged right away by the cashier. The young lady who brought our food to the table was very pleasant and kind. I wish I had gotten names of the employees because they all were all personable and professional! The food was delicious. To start with, we were treated like we had the plague because we took our masks off too early. Mind you, we were sitting outside. Staff was very rude and even made a comment to a visitor that she needed her to hold a lesson on wearing masks while standing right beside us. She then proceeded to hug the lady. What about social distancing? A member of our party wanted another beer and she stood at the door and said, “Well you have to pay for it”. Then she said she would ask the manager. I had a terrible experience there today. I ordered at the window and 20, then 30 then 35 minutes pass and nothing. They clearly see im there and others ordering after me have their orders met. They say nothing. I finally asked what is going on with my order. They say "name?". I said " Craig". Their response? " Oh we gave your order to someone else". No apology, no nothing. No " let me refund your money", No " can we offer a complementary meal", nothing. They even close the window, then open and take an order from someone els... read more

Tried it a couple of times while I was visiting. Everything tasted the same.
was my favorite burger place until learning today how greedy the owners are with their filing bankruptcy just so they will not have to pay back 1 million in expansion loans ... this means the public gets screwed with more/higher bank fees ... will not support their unethical business practices ... fyi says the woman who successfully worked in financial services between 1990-2017
