If you are looking to move in to the Lodo area please listen when I tell you DO NOT move in to the Westend Apartments it will be the worst decision you have ever made. First they offer 2 months of rent for free to get you in the door, they show you a beautiful apartment from afar but when you get up close the craftsmanship is very poor, there is paint everywhere, drafts and leaks that makes it so you can't even use your heat properly, splinters and screws all around the cheap ikea cabinets and stains on the vinyl floor and q... read more
be careful! They are really misleading. They show you different apartments then what's available. Right before signing they added an extra $50 to rent + added extras such as storage fees etc. if they tell you a price to move to month or more after lease is up- make sure to get in writing.
This place is a perfect place to live! Friendly people! Good location!
I would highly advise that you check the court records that are public information that Colonial Villa has been involved in and also court records on the management Staff! Here is the link to look up that information http://pa.courts.state.mn.us/Search.aspx?ID=100 you have to search by Defendant name. Wish I would have done that before moving here. It was great for cheap rent and I did like the location but I will be moving out ASAP! I pray that all future residents read this and stay away!
