A DRUG USED on an elderly cat 23 years old that was still active. Wanted a drug that might relieve some of her pain. Ended up with a drug that should be pulled and not used on animals. This drug is mostly and usually used on Humans. BUPRENORPHINE ORAL Our cat became listless, non responsive, and could not maintain her balance 5 days after using this drug. SHE DIED. I did my homework too late trusting what drug was prescribed. Don't let your vet use this drug on your cat. Other issues too with the veterinarian but ones word a... read more

We called the after hours vet number today and expected to just get a call back and be advised if we needed to take our dog to the Emergency Vet. After asking us some questions about how our dog was acting and what symptoms she was showing, he said he would like to see our dog today after he finished lunch with his family. We brought her in and he checked her out, did some blood work, and gave her the antibiotics she needed so that we didn't have to go to the ER vet.
