Would not recommend for Scouting. We were not informed until we got there that there was no help for beginner scouts. The merit badge class started late sp we sat around for 2 hours before even doing anything in the meeting. Not a good experience.
RecommendedBeen coming here for close to 40 years, since I was a kid. Always a good time. I have to mention, In the midst of the COVID epidemic there were far too many people without masks. The rules were very loosely enforced
Great facility, good food and well kept grounds. A bit pricey, but it's close to Illinois so that's probably why.
Love Alpine! Reasonable drive from Chicago ‘burbs, nice runs, fast chairlifts & delicious fries. What’s not to like??

Loved it a lot! Amazing place for beginners. Just didn’t like that there were lots of queues. You have to wait 20-30 min to get your lift. They r selling more tickets thn they can handle. We came 30 min before the opening. At 11-12 all the lifts had long long queues. I liked the restaurant upstairs. Nice food and good staff. Everything is clean inside.
