Great place for beginners to learn how to ski. But I agree with the other comments about service and food. The buildings are beautiful, but layout is not efficient. You pick up equipment and have long walk to get to lifts. Which is not bad, just be prepared especially if you have kids. I had more issues with the rental staff who refused to check bindings by snapping boot in for me, decided to trust them , only to find out at the chairlift that the bindings were not adjusted properly to fit my boots. 2nd time getting the large family room with a group of friends. Fantastic time skiing, hanging out, swimming, having a great time. Easily a favorite.
Great place to bring family and friends. We had a great day on the slopes and at the bar LOL. But in all seriousness, I've been going to AV for 10 years now and they never fail to disappoint.
Apparently they have No customer service! I found out about the beginner pass after paying for all-in pass on my 1st day of snowboarding. After staying solely on the carpet bunny hill, I found out about the beginner pass and went to the ticket office to ask about it. I asked for the difference of $14 but dark haired female manager wouldn’t give me anything and was completely rude about it. Perfect for a two day getaway for a family. The ski instructors were great with my kids and there were just enough runs to keep us busy! Staff was all great too
