Great, travis is the best range officer if you go see him at the pistol range he gives out great techniques on shooting
Range officer went Psycho, started yelling at a customer who was allowed to shoot but range officer had no clue to rules. Grabbed gun from customer, threw the gun in range bag and threw bag at the customer. Also while yelling at the customer had his hand on his gun ready to shoot. Screamed vulgar obscene words at the customer. The customer was doing nothing wrong and following rules. Manager stated customer had right to shoot but this officer had no clue and went off.
Business response:
There is so much wrong with this review, I don't even know when to start. 1. Alpine's policy is you must be 21 to shoot a handgun, unless accompanied by someone 21 or over. 2. No manager ever told your son he could should shoot a pistol, he is only 18. 3. You were not even here to know what happened. 4. I have talked to every single RO and several customers who were here, your son was never mistreated, no one was rude, and nothing was "thrown" at him. Someone is lying and I doubt it is the 10 people with the same story. 5. I... read more
This is the first range I went to about 2 months ago. Very nice. The people are terrific. Even when it's full, there's plenty of room and the range officers and knowledgeable and polite. I highly recommend this range to novice and well trained alike. You won't be disappointed.
Very helpful and friendly staff. One of the range officers even helped me bore sight and zero in my new scope.
Great place to shoot. Great place to get lessons or just hang out and have fun.
Alpine Shooting Range has been our "go-to" resource for target and hunting sports since I was a kid. My dad introduced me to Alpine and I have since passed on the connection to my son. Their prices are very fair and they only stock the best in gear. David Smith and his entire team are knowledgable and always helpful. Most importantly, we have always felt safe due to their close eye for firearm safety which isn't always the case at other ranges we have visited. Go check them out for yourself. You will be glad you did!
It's a great range. Sandra Watts is a great instructor for my son. You can tell she has a good time teaching gun safety and how to shoot.
Went out to Alpine on a Saturday morning to shoot clays with my son (9). This was our first trip to Alpine and the staff was very polite and helpful. The equipment worked fine, but could benefit from some replacement boards and a fresh coat of paint. We will definitely be back again!
Been going to Alpine Shooting Range on and off all my life and never had a bad experience. Great place to shoot with family and friends.
