Update ▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎ Just wanted to update that Airbnb refunded us fully and gave us money for a hotel due to treatment we received and the huge inconvenience their disrespect caused. We thought this host and location would be a great fit for our family vacation but after getting should settled into the unit we found some issues with cleanliness. This was the WORST Airbnb experience we have ever had. DO NOT book with Alpha Leader Vacation Homes—you will regret it. The hosts are unprofessional, disrespectful, and retaliatory. Upon arrival, we noticed so many hairs in the bathroom including the upper shower wall but chose not to report it immediately, as we wanted to settle in and enjoy our stay. Alpha Leader use their “list of fees” as a way to charge guests over the advertised price. Our Airbnb was left spotless, with photo evidence of each room, yet we received over £100 worth of fines for items in rooms which weren’t even used. From the photos sent to us, it was very obvious that the damage had been caused by their cleaning team (the same stain across towels and sheets used in multiple rooms, including some not even used!!).
