My grandpas heater wasn’t working so we called Alpha (aka rouge heating & air).. they came out and told us his system wasn’t working and needed a whole new $15k dollar system and then the tech was extremely pushy about us signing for it. We told them we’d get back to them and called another company to get another opinion. They came out and actually fixed the problem!! My grandpas system was NOT broke & it was actually a simple fix. UPDATE: Unfortunately my 2nd servicing was a bust. While the first people were amazing, thorough, informative, the second time around I had to call to remind them to service me - as I had signed up for the "Green Shield" plan that was sold to me as a pre-pay plan that leaves me with NOT having to remember to call for a service, because they call you every six months. I recently had Alpha come to my house to fix my heating and cooling system. Not even a week later I couldn’t use my thermostat on the wall so I called alpha and they said for me to turn it on and off manually on the system it self. I was told they would come back out here and fix it at no charge because it was still under their warranty for it not working no longer than a week later.
