On October 17, 2024, I visited Dr. Wu’s office due to severe back pain resulting from a worsening degenerative disc condition. Dr. Wu required an MRI and referred me to Grove Imaging Center. Giving one star only because I have to, to post this complaint; Inadequate patient care is at the forefront, regarding an authorization battle between the facility, Aetna Medicare and IPA - Alpha Care Medical Group, which has resulted in the delay of a stroke patient being sent to a rehab facility for physical, occupational and speech therapy. If I could, I would give this service -100 stars. I received an approved letter from this medical group, but when I called the pharmacy, they said they have no record of me. Additionally, the pharmacy phone number provided in the letter is incorrect. Why am I being given all this incorrect information and instructions? I'm paying almost $400 per month for this terrible insurance service.
Absolutely DO NOT choose this medical group particularly if you live in the Coachella Valley.
