I took my 2.4 carat diamond to Alpha Buying Company and had a very disappointing experience. Sas kept pressing me for what other buyers had quoted and repeatedly tried to downplay the stone. At one point, he even claimed his $2000 machine showed it wasn’t even a diamond but a “masonite.” Only after I challenged him did he re-test and suddenly confirm it WAS a real diamond. With great patience, wisdom, and humour, he sorted through my extensive jewellery/watch collection, and gave me a very good price for it all. I was so relieved.
