I come up to visit from Chicago IL to visit my son & his family. I was very disheartened by his picture of the trash left after the fireworks yesterday. He & his daughter picked up quite a pile but so much still left on the grounds. I hope you have something in the works for environmental awareness. Every town has "clean up" crews but their job should be emptying the cans and picking up wind blown items, etc. You need a "Pride in Alpena" movement of the "people" to make your town a desirable vacation destination & place to l... read more
