Very relaxing, experience. Beautiful property, exquisite detail. Convenient to metro Denver, we will be back for another relaxing time out.
Unfriendly customer service, combative, and unnecessarily rude. I didn’t even stay at the location but needed to cancel reservations due to a change in travel plans. It was a simple action as we were within our cancellation window; No necessary reimbursement or anything charge related. I emailed (no response), two days later called. The person who answered the phone (the owner) was blatantly mean and unnecessarily sharp with her tongue and tone. We loved our brief stay this past weekend! Can't wait to go back another time.
The location of Alpen Way Mountain Lodge is Great!. Many hiking trails in Alderfer/Three Sisters Park only a few miles away. Evergreen Lake and downtown are a stone's throw away. The rooms are comfortable and quaint. A gas burning stove on a thermostat controlled the heat. A/C in the summer.
