We loved place. So sad it is closed. It was clean, quiet and perfect for us.
Has any one reopened the motel? I would love to go there this summer.
We really enjoyed our visit very clean quiet enviroment with friendly ppl. The heated pool wasnt as heated as we thot so i couldn't stay in it long but other than that i really would recommend this place to anybody
We stayed here & absolutely loved it ! Beautiful setting, very clean, very quite. Loved the beautiful plants everywhere. The pool was awesome, play area for the kids, volleyball & horseshoe too ! They think of everything to make your stay comfortable for all ! Even water bottles in your room !!! We will be back !! Thank you, thank you, thank you !!! <3
RecommendedWe have stayed with Alpen Acres on many visits to the NC Mountains. These people do everything to make you feel welcome. The accommodations are clean , comfortable, quiet with no thru traffic. My grandchildren loved the heated pool and yes I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Blowing Rock, Boone area.

Clean, comfortable and close to attractions
We have stayed here for quite a few years. Love the facility! Quiet, extremely clean and comfortable. The pool is perfect! Convenient to the parkway, to Boone and Blowing Rock, yet it is off Hwy 321 far enough to be quiet. We will be back.
