I took my 6-month-old kitten to this veterinary clinic on Thursday due to her high fever and seizures. The experience left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. Before they even examined her, they presented me with two payment options: a low-cost option, which essentially meant they would guess what was wrong and prescribe medications, or a more expensive option that I couldn't afford at the time. Fearing for my kitten's health, I opted for the cheaper option. We followed their prescribed medication regimen, but my kitten'... read more

My pets have been in the care of Dr. Peppin and his staff for years now. This is the best veterinary care possible. The staff is very knowledgable, caring and empathetic. Dr Peppin and many of his staff have become like family. There is no better care for your pet !

I brought my cat due to an unexpected experience after coming back home. She was found stuck, and crying for help due to immobility. Due to her young age, and environment (she is a four year old indoor cat, with no environmental, nor nutritional changes in 1 yr.+) this was unexpected. She was brought to the nearest veterinarian clinic- Aloha Pet & Bird Hospital, immediately. My cat's symptoms were explained to the staff upon check-in, which were- loss of strength (specifically lower limbs), and acid reflux symptoms (decrease... read more

Took my cat in as an emergency. They charged me more than I receive to be able to live on for the month. I feel raped and taken advantaged of! Nothing short of an operation or something like that should cost that much. Basically I had to decide in letting my cat die or being able to live and pay my bills!

We do like the doctors, however, dO not take your pets here if you expect consistency and professional courtesy. On more than one occasion we were given misinformation. On more than one occasion we were treated in a very condescending manner. The manager told me I should move on from losing my dog Cady, who became extremely sick suddenly after a vaccine. They are also extremely expensive.

It is clear to me they care more about money than pets. I was charged over $200 for medicine that I found out later I could get at my local pharmacy for only$10!! My dog tore his ACL and Dr. Christiasen did the surgery. After complications, my dog ended up losing his leg, I was told by another Veterinarian Orthopedic Specialists that the surgery that was done was outdated and not really used anymore due to the complications. I had to pay over $3,000 for the surgery and then almost $2,000 for another specialist to remove... read more
