It isn't as posh as some but it is very comfortable. It's better located than most for the downtown life and we would put the front desk staff against any we have encountered in Sarasota or beyond. Fun vibe in the lobby with seating, TV's, lobby bar, and a pool table. Even has a little quick shop area with basic necessities for convenience. We have stayed in all of the central downtown hotels and choose to go back to the A Loft every time.
Its definitely a different vibe but its a pretty neat hotel and is located near many things to do. I did enjoy the rooftop pool. Although my parents were disappointed that the bar at the pool seemed to stay closed odd for a weekend we felt. But it was a nice place.
Good value, clean and great location

Llamamos confirmaron que estaba ahí y lo enviaron por FedEx impecable muchas gracias 🙏😍❤️ el hotel muy lindo y la atención también. I want to thank this cleaning lady who wrote down what my daughter had forgotten and left it at the reception. We called, they confirmed it was there, and they sent it by FedEx in perfect condition. Thank you so much 🙏😍❤️ The hotel is very beautiful and the service was excellent too.
The hotel enforced me to use for valet parking even though they have a 5 floor garage building. My car was damaged (dented and scratched paint) while parked at the garage parking and the management could not give me a response nor access to video security surveillance. Front desk said the hotel's GM and the valet parking owner will get in touch with me, I have followed up and no response as of yet. If the hotel will not be liable for those type of issues, they should at least not enforce valet parking for hotels guests.
