Before my stay in June, I was a fan of Aloft. I arrived late but had maintained communication with Aloft letting them know I was going to be late. I arrived around 11 pm. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk so I had to wait a bit until a young man appeared. I checked in and went up to my room. A huge thank you to Kathy for her assistance and understanding. I arrived very late into DFW and there was confusion about the booking but Kathy was so competent, kind and humane in her handling of the entire situation. The world needs more Kathys!
We got a great deal on our room! The room was clean, and the decor was modern. There were a few things I didn't like. For instance, I didn't like the fact that really the only entrance was through the front. If you went swimming, you're entering smack dab in the middle of the main lobby. All of the other doors had a sign that said that they were locked and an exit only. The parking lot was on the side, so it was a bit of a walk to enter through the main door. Atmosphere is amazing. Staff is great friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean beds are cozy. Room is cool sheets are clean! This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Bar is also clean and clean cold beers.
