It breaks my heart to write this, because Melissa was very sweet when I worked with her, but these things need to be addressed and the truth needs to be brought to light! My experience working with Melissa has led me to a TWO MONTH ORDEAL of NO PAYMENT for my freelance work; and when I was paid I only received PARTIAL payment of what was on my invoice. I was so excited to book Melissa for my wedding but sadly, she seriously dropped the ball at my wedding, to the extent that I’ve been advised to seek legal action against her for financial restitution. The flowers she delivered: a) were not what we agreed on in her proposal, b) were far less robust than had been agreed on (and paid for), c) included several partially dead or dying flowers and d) were constructed poorly, creating several logistical challenges, including my planner having to run to a local bodega for extra flo... read more

Alma Floral Studio is amazing!!!! I highly recommend this kind, generous and very talented florist. I live in Canada and wanted something special for my daughters birthday. Melissa had made the most beautiful custom arrangement, like a floral work of art. Fantastic service, quality product and excellent workmanship. The attention to detail is very impressive. Melissa and her team at Alma have delivered excellent service. Her arrangements are beautifully personalized and she takes great care in sourcing only the loveliest flowers! I have been pleasantly surprised with every arrangement and have permanently installed my Alma Christmas wreath in my home, as everything Melissa makes is stylish and versatile!
