We just started going to Dr. Self-Stoico, and we couldn't be happier. She's very kind and attentive with our newborn, and she takes the time to answer our (many) questions with humor and empathy. She is also very responsive to our concerns, even after hours. We are so so glad we found her!!
We followed Dr Self-Stoico from Rose City/UCLA health to her new practice. She followed both of our daughters when Dr Powell was unavailable and then after he retired. We adore her and the individual attention and close care she provides to each daughter (ages 11 and 16). Dr. Self knows them intimately and it is obvious that she cares deeply for both of them. Dr. Self-Stoico cares so much. I love her and wholeheartedly trust her with my children's care. I trust her advice, due diligence, and management of my child's symptoms. I appreciate her explanations and her decisions. She respects children of all ages and I am very grateful for how she treats my daughters and how she speaks to them. I am so thankful to have found her and happy to leave our current provider, whom my 2 daughters have been going to since birth, just to continue with her treating my children. Dr. Self is such a knowledgeable, kind, and caring doctor. She has been my children's' pediatrician for the past 3 years. They are very comfortable with her and that is a big deal to me. We are so happy to have found her and are even leaving the current office we go to just to stay with her.
