Allyns Cafe

4.5

About this business

Travel to Columbia Tusculum and you will find Allyn's Cafe, a lively meeting place concealed behind a run-down facade. You can sit at the bar and enjoy live music, or choose a moderately-priced meal from the Cajun-Mexican menu. The menu has something for everyone, including children. For those looking for a quiet meal, the bar area can be noisy. The side room offers a better ambience for diners.

Great staff, simply awesome food, icy cold adult beverages, and a huge selection of drinks! This is for certain, one of the best places in Cincinnati to go to! 🍻🥃🐊

Lunch today was delicious. The food was great. Their menu is diverse, and has a decent vegan selection. The waitress gave us a sample of of their jambalaya. If you like jambalaya it was delicious, and they have a vegan jambalaya as well. Plus they do something called a grab and go. This picture is their vegan chili, for $5.95. I’ll go back just for the chili and the Cajun fries, but there is more on the menu I want to explore.

Somebody told me they thought Allyn’s had vegan options. Boy... their vegan food is the best, I got to eat a fantastic vegan breakfast (cowboy eggs) and there were other choices like vegan huevos rancheros! My carnivore husband said his breakfast was awesome too. Can’t wait to go back and try the other plant based choices for lunch and dinner too and eat the vegan cheesecake I took to go :). They had an awesome wine store in the back with great prices and a nice patio that was dog friendly. Definitely going to be one of my n... read more

We had a wonderful time at lunch. The service was fantastic. Our server went above and beyond. The guac was among the best we've ever had (and we've had a lot of guac). We really appreciate that the restaurant had a large enough variety that our family's three different diets could all easily be accommodated and deliciously. If we lived in Cincinnati, we would become regulars. Thank you for a great experience.
