I wouldn’t even give them one start but it’s the only way I cld write a review. My father was moved there from Quincy Illinois due to it being the only VA contracted facility w an available bed in the area. He has been in steady decline for about 5 days and drasticly the last 2 days. I made the 2 hr drive there and back and then went again yesterday to see his hospice nurse. She told me he may have a week max and that is pushing it that if she were me she’d advise me to stay close maybe contact family so that we cld swap out... read more
My family member is regularly in dirty clothing and doesn't even get a washcloth to clean his face upon waking. The kitchen ignores his dietary preferences, so he goes hungry most days. They lost one of his hearing aids. I spoke to 4 different nurses asking them to take his remaining hearing aid to the VA clinic so he could get new ones. That was not done. Very negligent staff.

Never send your loved one here for rehab. Worst place ever. They don't call you if your person is sick with rsv and quarantined. They didn't do the PT that was assigned to him. He went to get stronger and work in balamce and walking. sent him home weaker, cant get up, cant get his balance and is struggling worse. I Pulled a muscle with spasms 10 days of him being back WHICH was the reason he was sent to rehab. If I get injured no one is able to care for him at home. So thank you.
