Scott Stecker has been our home and auto insurance agent for the past four years after we were with another insurance agency for over 40 years. He is not only experienced and knowledgeable, he treats you like family making we are going in right direction. We had to file our first home claim ever and were floundering trying to decide what to do and who to trust. Scott has advised and guided us every step. Had an absolute nightmare of an experience with this agency. They don't respond in a timely manner once they have your money, then they do not advocate for their customer in a fraudulent inspection. The third party inspection company lied about several things on my property and this agency did nothing to keep the business. They even questioned why I would cancel...seriously? Over the past 3 weeks, Mark and his team have gone above and beyond my expectations. My vehicle was involved in a minor accident in Chicago the Friday before Christmas. The tow truck company dispatched by Allstate Roadside impounded my vehicle instead of towing it to a body shop. Another tow truck company then demanded thousands of dollars for the vehicle to be released. In switching our auto and homeowner's insurance policies, I contacted Randy Holt's office for a quote. They were amazing to work with: very prompt, professional and kind. They were also very confident in answering all of our questions (and we had a lot of them). Last, but not least, their pricing with the same and some better coverage, were much lower than our current company. I would recommend working with this agent and his office any time!

Customer service here is non-existent. They will not help you at all with any claims. Instead they direct you to the claims department, where they do not answer the phone. They did not return a single one of my messages in months. When I tried to get help from my local office in Portage, they literally refused to help me. They said they can only "service claims", which I think means take your money initially. After that they want nothing to do with you.
