Scott Stecker has been our home and auto insurance agent for the past four years after we were with another insurance agency for over 40 years. He is not only experienced and knowledgeable, he treats you like family making we are going in right direction. We had to file our first home claim ever and were floundering trying to decide what to do and who to trust. Scott has advised and guided us every step. Customer service here is non-existent. They will not help you at all with any claims. Instead they direct you to the claims department, where they do not answer the phone. They did not return a single one of my messages in months. When I tried to get help from my local office in Portage, they literally refused to help me. They said they can only "service claims", which I think means take your money initially. After that they want nothing to do with you. Zero stars and take your business elsewhere. I have been with Allstate for 30+ years. This summer I was asked to do some tree trimming/wildfire prevention work on my property by Melissa, and it was quite a bit of tree and limb removal and cost a couple thousand dollars. When I was done I submitted my photos, and then Melissa asked me about another photo of a property 2 lots away, hundreds of feet from my home, and asked that I thin that as well. DO NOT use ALLSTATE INSURANCE or Dan Brown. My home was pelted with 1.5" of hail and my roof has a million dents! Allstate Insurance says this is "COSMETIC DAMAGE". My opinion is very different... Allstate nor Agent Dan Brown cares about your property. They only care about profits. Dan Brown did nothing to help our family. He told me "we will just deny your claim for some other reason". Five months of fighting with them. Unbelievable treatment of a customer, I've never seen anything like this. FIRE THEM!!

Hope is amazing. She listens to you and gives you the best options available. Overall, she is the most honest and helpful agent that I have ever work with. I have been a customer of hers since 2010. I highly recommend it.

these people will lie and tell you anything to sign up, i was quoted 1077, now two months later it's almost 2,000, they are the absolute worst people i've ever dealt with

Been with this agency 15+ years. Used to be 5 stars. In the last two phone calls the service was terrible, the last being put on hold for 10+ minutes. The agent had just awful telephone manners. Calling other agencies for help.
