I called in to have my policies canceled and I was informed that I could not cancel using the effective date of my policy through another company. This is a gross malpractice on the agencies part as it is illegal to double insure property and it will cost the consumer for the days they are double insured. My mother went into the office in May to make a payment and to have her future payments deducted automatically from her CHASE account. They took her check did an electronic payment and handed her the CHASE check back. June’s payment should have been withdrawn automatically but wasn’t. They charged her a total of $35 more for NSF and for a Late payment.
