I went to shop for homeowners insurance. Was told to get homeowners insurance that I must get car insurance too in a bundle. I said are you telling me I can't get homeowners insurance as a stand alone policy? The owners says no. Car and homeowners insurance must be bought together. I left and called Allstate customer service department and a different Allstate independent agent location. I ask if this information was true.
