We filed our first ever claim after being with Allstate for 9 years. The only thing the agent can help you with as far as a claim goes is direct you to the online portal (which isn't very user-friendly) and make a phone call to "escalate the situation". The staff stated when I called again for help "The only thing we can do is make a phone call like we did before". Anytime I have emailed, haven’t received a response. The one time I talked one the phone, she was extremely rude. Really makes me want to go back to spending 70/month just so I’m not an account of hers. If transferring was an option, I would do it in a heartbeat. Will go back to Geico once my contract is up.
