I haven't had any particular problem with my homeowners policy through Allstate, although I haven't filed any claims either. I will say that I've tried to communicate with their agent's office, on more than one occasion, and I never get a reply. I have to phone them. I think it is discourtious and unprofessional to not acknowledge having received a customer's email.
I spoke with Michael Obi about getting homeowners and car insurance, however I decided to go with another company and cancel my policy. Michael was extremely passive aggressive and hung up on me multiple times. I would highly recommend not using this insurance agent.
Allstate came through for me after the hurricane came to NC. They were attentive and helpful from the moment I called them. My homeowners policy was a big help in getting home and carport repairs as well as help with temporary evacuation costs. Thank you, Allstate!
