Absolute worst of the worst insurance companies I have ever been with. I have been an Allstate customer for over 31 years with multiple homeowner and rental policies with Allstate. I don't think I have ever had a claim in 31 years on my homeowner's policy and very few on all the rental properties I own and I have had insured with Allstate. I was an Allstate customer for 20 years. They rely on the fact you are complacent with shopping for competitive rates. After one too many annual rate increases I did a quick search and found they were not competitive, and frankly took advantage of me. Rates for a better Auto and Home policy were a third cheaper. This particular agency failed to cancel after sending and receiving confirmation.
